This year RG Travels team up with our good friends at Further Expeditions to offer a true quest for Everglades tarpon while sleeping miles away from civilization in the comfort of a custom sport-fisher. America’s Everglades National Park is the largest subtropical wilderness in the United States. Our Expedition will take you deep into this distraction free wilderness in search of Tarpon. We offer a truly “off the grid” experience inside one of the wildest most rugged ecosystems in the world.
Serving as the life line of the adventure, the 63 ft Viking mothership is anchored up 30 miles into the remote wilderness of Everglades National Park. The expedition runs for five days and four nights, starting on Wednesday and ending on Sunday.
While our primary focus is tarpon, we often find ourselves with great opportunities at Snook, Red Fish, and Triple Tail, among other fish.
What to expect
- We have a trained chef and hospitality manager on board to help meet and exceed your every expectation. We are happy to accommodate any special requests and or dietary restrictions.
- Round-trip transportation to and from the airport and our mothership is included.
- We will be happy to make a quick stop for beverages on the way into the park.
- We also provide all necessary fly fishing equipment but we encourage all of our guests to bring their own equipment if they prefer. All you have to do is pack a bag and show up – we can handle it from there!
